A Great Day

Today we went to my parent's house so I could work on music. I had this great plan I was going to hook up to the computer and play the music then just tweek it manually. Well I finally got a cord that was supposed to work...but no it didn't, so I worked it manually for about 5 hours and was able to get 3 of the 4 songs well on their way to being done. YAY!!! Then I had shopping to do and a lesson to study for. It was a busy day...but productive!!

At about 10:45pm lifeline was coming in. Benjamin is very fascinated with airplanes and helicopters right now. He had a long nap and was still up so Mike asked him if he wanted to go see it. It's about a mile away. Benjamin just started laughing and giggling. He was sooo excited!!! He tried to tell me about it when he got back. It is cute to hear him try to say "copter, and ambulance". He is really changing and talking a lot.

Focus....

Today is a day that seems to be a constant struggle to try to stay focused on what I am doing. I am sure you all know what that is like. Holding a fussy baby, getting baths, lunch, Valentine cards filled out, and laundry and cleaning in the between times. But as I look around to see what I need to finish and how overwhelmed I get, I think about One who focuses on me when I can't seem to make sense of anything. I want to always stay focused on Him and thank him for wonderful opportunity that I have to be a wife, a mommy, a homekeeper, a care-giver, and treasure every moment of the children's little lives.

Valentine's Day is coming!!!

Kendra has a Valentine's day party at school on Thursday so we were trying to be creative with her Valentine card box. She decided that a helicoper would be nice so we put on the side. "Flyin high on Valentine's. It turned out cute. She put the letters and decorations on it.

Abigail decided that she wanted one too, so I did one for her so she could decorate it the way she wanted. I think she had more fun playing with all the little foam peices than she really did putting them on the helicopter.

Benjamin got the little can. He is smart, though. I cut the little slit in the top and he pointed to it and said "Money". :) He knows what that's for. I got tickled at him, but I gave him a few coins and let him put them in. That made him happy. These are the finished products.

I'm Back Again

Hello, I am a back. Thanks to a nice little "BUG" I was away for a while. I just love computers!! :)

I took some pictures last week of the children in the snow. They were playing as their daddy was shoveling. They really enjoyed it.
